One of the things that are still free in this world is free guitar lessons and free guitar lesson ecourses online. I even enjoy learning new songs I haven’t learned yet, through sites like Youtube.com. All from the comfort of my home.

This year I turned 59, almost at that 60 mark, so when I wanted to learn how to play guitar I had limited choices and being the shy guy lacking in self confidence I never did learn to play guitar back then.

I bought one and tried learning with books but never had much learning so I decided to hire a guy which turned into a pain in the butt and after just three really bad lessons I asked him to not bother returning. He shouldn’t have been trying to teach beginners as he just wasn’t a people person, to say the least.

I gave my books and acoustic Yamaha guitar away and didn’t bother with guitar for about 20 years. Not until the Internet became available. Then it was an entirely different story. Today we have so much free access to things, especially learning how to play acoustic guitar.

Free Online Guitar Lessons

Today I’ve got a membership to  Jamorama.com where I am learning more intermediate or advanced guitar lessons but trust me I spend most of my time learning songs I like for free.

Most of what I know today is due to the easily accessed free content which includes videos I’ve found online. A good example has to be Youtube. It’s become one of my favourite sites for learning so many things, especially for learning how to play guitar as a beginner and beyond.

When using the net to find free content that is useful one does have to go to many places, unlike when you join sites such as Jamorama and JamPlay.com. So once you find a site that’s quality and still free you should bookmark it for later.

How I Find Free Guitar Lessons

Google is my favourite search tool for one reason, they give me the best results for my searches and I usually find all kinds of places to learn new guitar related stuff. Don’t be intimidated when you do a search like “learn how to play guitar online” and find about 60 million pages.  You’re really only interested in what’s on the first few pages of any search.

Using YouTube To Find Free Guitar Lessons

I love Youtube!! There I said it.

I think I spend more time on Youtube.com learning free guitar lessons and songs that most anything else. Playing guitar is a huge part of my day. I’m not a pro and never will be. I have no desire to be playing in front of people, I just want to play guitar to entertain myself and Youtube gives me an endless supply of free lessons and songs.

Just in case you’re new to doing searches here’s an example of search I would do if I were still looking for beginner guitar lessons for my acoustic guitar, “how to play guitar for beginners acoustic”.

I added the word acoustic because I don’t have an electric guitar and would rather learn things for my Yamaha acoustic guitar.

Try searching for phrases like ‘learning guitar chords’. The quotes are actually needed as I only used them here to show the exact phrases I search for. I also use phrases like ‘guitar riffs’ or ‘guitar licks’ to impress my guitar jam buddies.

Give Puppy Just One Potty Spot

Don’t mess with your puppies mind by giving them multiple locations to go potty. Make it simple with one location, let’s call it the Potty Spot. They will learn much quicker when you don’t give them multiple choices to confuse their little minds.

Being consistent and watchful makes it easier on everyone and puppy will learn much faster.

Don’t punish puppy for not making it to the Potty Spot every time. How did you do during potty training? Mom and Dad had to have patience and had to be on top of the situation all the time.

Reward Puppy For Dong Good

You never play with puppy during potty training moments, that’s for after they do a good job. So you reward them for doing good but never punish them if they get it wrong, just don’t reward them.

Maybe I go a little overboard with praises and hugs but all my puppies have been worth it as they bring so much love to the home.

We’ve found a variety of puppy treats, praise, and playtime works very well for pretty much all puppies. The thing is puppy really wants to please you and your family but takes time to work out any mixed singles being sent.

Set A Time For Potty Training

You have to be on top of puppy in those early days so they learn quickly. I like to take puppies out for potty first thing in the morning as soon as I get out of bed. If I have to go first thing so does puppy.

Of course there is going to be times throughout the day puppy is going to need to go but you can still setup a schedule that will help you train your puppy even faster. I like to take puppies out as soon as they have eaten or drinking, even before they do the potty dance.

When puppy gets up from a nice long nap it’s a good time to take them out for potty training practice. This gets even more scheduled if you feed puppy at specific times, knowing they will need to go potty shortly after.

You will find having a schedule will actually give you more time.

Being Consistent With Puppy is Vital

Sending mixed singles will only confuse puppy and make puppy potty training longer and more frustrating so be consistent with your puppy. If not there will be a lot more failures during any type of training.

It Won’t Happy Over Night

Puppies are going to have accidents, for what ever reason so expect it and don’t get upset with puppy. Add to this the fact that there will be times puppy will go out to the potty spot and do nothing at all. Especially when you put them on a schedule.

This is fine, just don’t ever make it a play time if they don’t go. Keep potty spot, potty spot and not a play area or play time.

No Food or Water at Bedtime

Just like when I was a little guy, there was no food or water just before bedtime, so we would stay in bed all night. This works well with puppies as well, for the most part.

I still stayed with puppy, close to the crate we used to help train her easier and so she wouldn’t be so lonely over those first few weeks away from her siblings.

There’s lots of musical instruments but today the most used and easy to learn instrument is the guitar and I’d say the acoustic guitar because it can go everywhere with you.

I really enjoy having access to a computer and the Internet, it’s changed my life in so many ways, including how I play guitar. Hiring one on one instructors didn’t work for me and trying to follow guitar books just frustrated me. It wasn’t until the Internet became available to me that I found a method that works for me. That was when I found  my two favourite members sites.

Jamorama.com and Jamplay.com are the two places I was willing to give up a little money to become a member and finally I was able to learn how to play guitar. I have learned so many things I was either doing wrong or not doing at all plus I continue to learn new things that’s making me a better guitar player.

I love the fact I have everything I need to learn how to play guitar efficiently with just two sites, Jamorama and Jamplay.

I am now on my third Yamaha acoustic guitar. One many years ago which I gave away because I just couldn’t seem to learn how to play with the resources available to me. Then a second acoustic guitar eleven years ago when I started learning again and now a third Yamaha acoustic guitar. I guess I just love the sound and feel of Yamaha guitars.

Step One – Find The Right Niche For YOU

This is the biggest mistake most marketing wannabees make and sadly most don’t come out on top. They decide to go with a niche they think they can make the most money with and usually it’s the make money online niche. My experience has taught me that top keywords in most niches today are tied up and can take years to compete for them. In the mean time most go broke or give up trying. Instead return to researching to get the best keywords for YOU.

So, once you have your niche you need to find YOUR best keywords and for this you can use Google’s free keyword tool to find keywords that don’t have a lot of competition, which is getting a little tougher every day. Personally I use Keyword Elite 2 for my keyword research as it saves me hours of research time.

Keyword Elite isn’t free but is about the best investment you will make for your business.

Step Three – Purchase A Keyworded Domain Name

So you have invested your time and maybe some money to find YOUR best keywords so the next step is to buy a keyworded domain for your work from home business. There are few things you should know about having a keyworded domain.

By the way, I use GoDaddy.com for all my domain purchases today.

Step Four – Hosting Your New Domain

You are getting closer to starting your niche focused blog but there is still something you need to know that’s going to make it easier and that’s using WordPress blogs and themes. For the past number of years I have been using HostGator for my hosting requirements.

HostGator has great support and have gotten me out of many pickles I’ve let myself get into but more than that they also have the most common control panel known as cPanel and it includes an easy way to install platforms for getting your message out there.

This install feature is called Fantastico and I love it as it makes installs so easy compared to doing this manually. I always use WordPress as it’s my favourite blogging platform.

Once I have WordPress installed it has the default themes which I don’t care for so I look for a blog theme that matches my blog’s niche. For this I like to used paid themes that are optimized already for search engines.

Step Five – Learn About Affiliate Marketing

This is the step where I start making money with my blogs. The thing is at the beginning I really didn’t know how to make the money and struggled for some time before being directed to an affiliate training ebook that actually worked for me.
