work from home bloggingFor my work from home business as a blogger I spend a big part of my day article writing for my niche related blogs. There are many days that I just can’t get into the swing of things to come up with the content I need regularly.

Some days I just need a little help and from what I have seen I am not alone when it comes to hitting the wall called writer’s block. My idea if writer’s block isn’t complicated. When I can think of an article title to get me started I have writer’s block, plain and simple. It doesn’t have to go on for day, even a few hours and I’m looking for ways to get my brain in gear.

I Like To Check On My Competitors

There is lots of competition in the niches I focus on so when I am having trouble coming up with topics to talk about I just visit the top few sites in my niche, which match my main keywords and see what they are talking about.

A Good Title Can Trigger My Brain

There are times that I check competitors for topics they have thought about but I also get inspiration from just reading titles on relevant blogs. With a title in mind I am back in gear and ready to start writing my next article, sometimes even a series of articles.

Now I don’t like to steal title, just kick-start the old grey matter.

Just A Little More Keyword Research Helps

Research is important but when I feel I have exhausted my keyword topics I just go back and do some more keyword research using Keyword Elite or Micro Niche Finder. I have never been let down yet and always seem to find more topics to go with my keywords.

For me it’s a step by step process I go through to come up with article writing ideas. But these methods work great for me and I will continue to use them when my brain remains asleep after I start my work from home article writing day.
